Event raises funds for the purchase of 30 to 35 ergonomic chairs Read More

Musicians will soon have ergonomic chairs at the MacMillan Theatre and Walter Hall, thanks to students from the class of 2001 at the Faculty of Music. The group organized a benefit concert in November, which featured student performers and culminated in a standing ovation for violin virtuoso and assistant professor Scott St. John. The event raised more than $1,600, which will be matched by the Faculty of Music for the purchase of 30 to 35 ergonomic chairs. The goal is 80 chairs, and another GRADitude concert is being planned for spring. GRADitude is the student-run graduating class gift campaign.
