New Chair in Communications Strategy supported by Corus Entertainment Read More

With the fourth-largest concentration of media in North America, Toronto is also among the fastest growing regions in the area of software development. Its information technology and communications cluster includes a heavyweight mixture of software, communications, advertising, media and entertainment industries.

Helping Canada compete internationally is the Corus Entertainment Chair in Communications Strategy at the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management. A gift from the Canadian media company, the chair will focus on a range of issues in the communications sector – from recent trends toward convergence, to how organizations are affected by information technologies.
